The Frame Bag is fully custom, constructed with your choice of X-Pac, Dyneema, or 1000 Denier fabrics. Custom printed fabrics are available so you can express yourself and have the frame bag of your dreams!

  • The side panels for the seat tube and down tube are constructed with black Ballistic Cordura for durability in these higher abrasion areas. The top tube panel will match your main fabric choice or can be customized for an accent color.
  • The seat, top, and down tube are padded to protect your items and to prevent them from rattling against your frame. The bag is lined with a light colored pack-cloth fabric to increase visibility inside the bag.
  • Bags are 2.75" wide at the seat tube and taper to 3.5" at the head tube as a standard, but this can be changed at your request.
  • The drive-side zippers are YKK #10 nylon with hoods, and if you choose to have a non-drive side map pocket it can have a YKK #8 Aquaguard or YKK #10 nylon zipper depending on your preference.
  • The zippered flat map pocket (if added) goes on the non-drive side 1.5 inches down from your top tube. The map pocket depth is generally half way down the length of the bag, but this can be customized based on your preference. This pocket contains double mesh pockets inside and a key holder (example in photos).
  • The hydration port is standard and allows your water hose to come out the top panel of the bag near the head tube. If you plan on using the hydration port, I recommend either the Platypus 2.0 L bladder with a quick disconnect or the Apidura Frame Pack hydration bladder in the 1.5 or 3.0-L size (which fits in the bottom of your frame bag). I use a retractable cord to connect the hose to my handlebars. The frame bag can be made without a hydration port at your request.
  • A second lower zipper (if added) includes two internal panels that attach with Velcro to form a horizontal divider inside the bag, giving you an upper and lower compartment. These panels can be disconnected and folded flat against the side of the frame bag if/when you want just one large compartment within your frame bag. The divider gives you the ability to better organize your gear and/or have a dedicated compartment for your hydration bladder. The divider is generally placed half-way down the bag, but this can be customized based on your preferences. Please indicate if you plan to use one of the Apidura hydration bladders so the divider can be configured appropriately.
  • All seams are double-stitched with 100% polyester thread for durability, UV protection, and mildew resistance. All seams are finished to prevent fraying.
  • There are lace-up and bolt-on options for attaching the bag to your frame.
  • There is an option to add a bike pump strap on the inside top of the top tube panel. It is a daisy chain that runs along the length of the top tube with two or three straps of one-wrap velcro to hold the bike pump or tent poles in place (example in the pictures).

Be sure to follow the custom framebag instructions to ensure a perfect fit.

Fantastic custom frame bag

Jacquelyn, the owner and sewer of BroadFork Bags, was an absolute pleasure to work with, and her bags are designed and sewn with utmost thoughtfulness, care, and quality. When I first considered a custom frame bag, I reached out to 5 different custom bag companies with some specific questions, and 4 of those companies replied saying basically "Trust us, we know what we're doing, and go ahead a place your order." Only Jacquelyn replied thoughtfully, providing a detailed explanation of the pros and cons about what I was asking, and she posted my question to an internal group of custom bag makers, sharing their responses with me, allowing me to make an informed decision for myself. Other people might prefer to be told what to do, but I've been tinkering with gear all my life (I'm 75) and feel confident about making my own gear decisions. I've never encountered such superb and high-quality customer service in the bike industry before. I confidently and highly recommend BroadFork Bags!

Excellent quality craftsmanship!

I absolutely love my Broadfork Bags. I have already recommended Broadfork to a few of my fellow VeloVet riders who were jealous of my bags. I’ll definitely be coming back in the future to get bags made for my other bicycles!

Thank you so much for the kind review and for recommending me to others! I am thrilled you are loving your bags. I look forward to making you more in the future.

Great frame bag

I was over the moon to find a local company that would make custom frame bags. The quality and the attention to detail is incredible. I had some issues getting a good photo of my bike, but Jacquelyn was very responsive in our communications, which I really appreciated! Would highly recommend!

Thank you so much for the kind review! I appreciate it a lot.
